Pulling from my past
The process of this work is an act of surrender to the architectural tools and techniques of the artist’s past. To create this work, the artist built a custom sized drafting board to mimic that of an architecture student. An act mirroring the repetitions in learning to draw. The resulting work is an architectural composition of lines, planes and transparencies.
